‘Vices & Verses’ Cover
I was approached by an author who had come across my work, intrigued by my portfolio, he presented an exciting opportunity. As he was set to release his first-ever book, he hired me to design the cover. When we first met, he presented me with a very simple and sparse initial cover design. The layout basic and the elements minimal, he expressed an open-minded approach, giving me free rein to reinterpret his vision.
Understanding that conveying the book's tone was crucial, we began our collaboration by delving into some initial concepts. I immersed myself in Vice's & Verses’ poems, exploring the themes and emotions that resonated within.

Through our discussions, it became clear that the author had preferences for certain aspects from the different concepts. We navigated through multiple iterations, refining a design that resonated with him. Each session revealed new insights into what he envisioned for his book's identity.
This process culminated in a design that not only encapsulated the essence of Vices & Verses, but also authentically represented the author’s voice. The end result was a cover that was dynamic and engaging, standing as a testament to both our creative collaboration and his debut as a writer.

Havin’ A Yarn Logo
A close friend of mine, who has always inspired me with her creativity, hired me to design the logo for her upcoming crochet art business. Havin’ Yarn would predominantly feature charming crochet dolls, each with their own unique story and personality that sets it apart.
During our initial meeting, she excitedly showed me two sketches that represented her vision.
